You will respond to complex user requests and conducts in-depth investigations and resolves technical problems relating to the Production requirements for the RTM application. You will be responsible for prioritization, monitoring and controlling of defect logs, development of detailed business specifications; business process and information models; assist in the preparation of status reports. Works with end users in defining business needs and solutions for bug fixes and systems enhancements, and works with programming staff in defining solutions. It will be your responsibility to assist in defining test strategies and test plans, execution of test cases and system testing. In addition, you will be responsible for analysis, process modeling, engineering and re-engineering of business work flows and procedures.

It will be your responsibility to establish and maintain relationships with internal clients and represents yourself as a technical resource to investigate and resolve complex systems operation related problems.

You will be required to frequently apply advanced analytical techniques to conduct investigations and resolve technical problems or determine that problems need to be referred to a more senior level.


Knowledge, Skills & Education

• Post Secondary degree/diploma or C.I.P. or equivalent work experience.
• Two to four years experience Property/Casualty insurance personal lines (auto and property) underwriting experience as well two to four years experience as a business analyst on a major financial software development project. General knowledge of P&C commercial underwriting, claims and billing.
• Experience working with on-line systems along with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical skills, enthusiasm and creativity as well as proficiency in Word and Excel.
